It has been a while  I’ve posted on this page, but that does mean I’ve been busy! Dresses and bow ties and skirts and purses…I have done it all! Showcasing my talent has only begun, as I have years and years to go. Here are some of the things I’ve done since being MIA!

Flowers & stripes for baby, too!

Babies are being born left and right! No time to rest…gotta make these newborn baby outfits quick! Here is a newborn outfit I made for a beautiful young couple having their first child. I decided to monogram the diaper pants with the baby’s initials (something that every new mother wants) and use a different material for the pants. The peasant dress is so adorable and tiny, I couldn’t help but to get baby fever again! LOL! Now that it is out of the way, I can complete an outfit (or two) for another young family. Can’t wait to see what it looks like on the new baby!! 🙂

Birds & clouds sun dress

Hi everyone! I know it has been a while since I’ve posted, but that doesn’t mean this momma hasn’t been busy! Between baseball games and dance recital practices, I haven’t been able to sit down! I still have some projects that I have yet to complete, but I will post those when “Procrastinator Jerra” finishes them.

I searched through my pattern stash last week for a simple sun dress that would be a quick and easy make (and possibly make over and over again). I pulled out this cute pattern from Newlook (Newlook 6478) and got to work! It was fairly quick to put this dress together, and even though I monogrammed my daughter’s name to the head scarf, it took about and 1 1/2 tops! Look out world!! Leila’s in the clouds!

Yellow Chloe dress

20140422-212546.jpg

I’m currently working on a yellow Chloe dress using a pattern from Violette Field Threads. The bodice was very simple to make, but now I’m on the gathering of netting, tulle and chiffon for the tea-length style. Once this is finished, I will post the complete dress (and possibly post a photo of my next little model).

Short sleeve Peasant style shirt

Nothing spreads holiday cheer more than your little fashionista wearing a holiday peasant top! This top can be made in long sleeve or short sleeve with a coordinating bow on front of shirt. Made in holiday colors (St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Independence Day, etc) this peasant shirt is definitely an attention grabber!

Easter pant set

Easter pant set

Easter is just around the corner (April 20th) and what would be better than an Easter dress? This outfit! Perfect for the growing girl, it has an elastic waist and ruffled pant leg. The shirt (available in long sleeve and short sleeve) can have up to 3 letters embroidered in the egg.
